Reduce, Reuse, Remember ...

For those of you who enjoy rigorous memorization exercises, this here outlines all of the rules regarding recycling.

Important note: In Boone County, the vast majority of recycling is provided by Rumpke. However, the City of Florence has a contract with CSI and that company maintains the recycling facilities in the city ... Which means that there are different rules for recycling in Florence. I am rather perturbed that recycling is so confusing. It's hard to get folks to stand behind a process if no one can remember the rules. I've been working in environmental public education for five years and it took about that long to learn everything.

It's difficult and quite frankly, I don't think that planetary caretaking should be a hassle.
