Way to go girl! You have made some very good points, and I like your attitude. We did make it thru the 70's and we will likely make it thru to 2010+. Hopefully we won't make some of the same mistakes in a hurry to meet demand for more energy efficient vehicles. And maybe just maybe our government will use some of its political power to do something other than fight each other over legislation and pass something that helps the rest of us! TY...Jill
Point well taken. Our nation needs to be manufacturing energy efficient vehicles. Period. And we need to more seriously consider walkable communities where we can reach needed services without always having to drive.
I work at Boone County Solid Waste as an Environmental Educator. It's the best job ever.
