Attack of the Aging Televisions

What with the digital switchover hovering on the horizon like a technological tumult, much attention has been paid to the growing problem of obselete TVs.

Of course, transitioning to digital does not mean you need a new TV. Let me repeat, YOU DON'T NEED A NEW TV. All you need is a little digital tuner. I have one. It is cute. It brings me more channels for free. Learn more about the digital tranisition from the FCC.

So, even though your TV will be just fine, many folks (like my boyfriend) are attempting to use this television switch as an excuse to upgrade to a fancy new tube. That's cool. Just be sure to do the right thing with your old console TV.
